Visakhapatnam: Australian eves are having a wonderful time in India and they continued that in the third T-20 match against India where they thrashed the host by 63 runs at the Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium to get an invincible lead of 3-0 in the five match series.

Australia won the toss and elected to ball first. Their captain’s decision was put right into action by Aussie openers as they put together a stand of 112 runs. Meg Lanning (42) was the first player to get out but that didn’t stop Alyssa Healy’s charge as she continued her dominating way. She would have reached a three figure mark but got herself run out at a score of 90.

India came out to bat and was five wickets down with only 21 runs on the board. Sulakshana Naik and Reema Malhotra did put a partnership of some sort but that was never going to be enough as the hosts were always behind the required run-rate.
India played their allotted quota of 20 overs but could only manage to score 88 runs, falling behind the target.
