Hinwil, Switzerland, 1 October 2026: Audi Revolut F1 Team have set out plans for a new Formula One campus in Hinwil, less than a kilometre from Audi Motorsport AG’s current base.

Parts of the new site on Zurichstrasse came into use in summer 2026. The whole development is due to be completed in 2030.

What stays where

The existing site on Wildbachstrasse will keep running throughout the build. It will later be redeveloped as the team’s manufacturing centre and wind tunnel operation.

Power units will still be developed and built in Neuburg, Germany, and the team will keep its technical centre in Bicester in the United Kingdom.

Binotto: “Building a successful Formula 1 team is ultimately about people”

Mattia Binotto, the team’s CEO and Team Principal, said the campus would help the team “attract and retain world-class talent”.

“Building a successful Formula 1 team is ultimately about people. The best engineers, designers, mechanics and specialists want to work in an environment that allows them to collaborate, innovate and perform at their highest level. The Campus will help us create exactly that environment,” he said.

“We are not simply moving into an existing facility; we are creating a home designed around our people, our culture and our ambitions.”

Binotto thanked the Municipality of Hinwil. “We are proud that the next chapter of Audi Revolut F1 Team will be written in Hinwil,” he said.

Motor racing has been based in Hinwil since 1970, and Formula 1 for 33 years, starting with the 1993 South African Grand Prix.

Audi are in their first Formula 1 season in 2026 and aim to challenge for world championships by 2030. Read our preview of the team’s race at Sepang.
