Asian Champions Trophy: India beat Pakistan to reach finalDoha: India defeated Pakistan 2-1 to qualify for the final of the Asian Champions Trophy hockey tournament here.

India played some beautiful hockey to register what was a scintillating win. Rupinder Pal Singh (36th minute) and Chinglensana (51st) score the goals for the Indian team, while Mohd Waqas (57th) scored for Pakistan.

India is on top of the league table with 12 points. India will now face Malaysia in their last league match.

Both teams missed chances in the first half and no goals were scored in the first 35 minutes. The change of ends saw India got a golden opportunity getting a penalty corner in the first minute. Rupinder capitalized on the opportunity and gave India the lead.

Chinglensana doubled the lead in the 51st minute. Pakistan fought back with a goal from Waqas six minutes after that but it was not enough for them.
