Melbourne: British tennis player Daniel Evans defeated local boy Bernard Tomic to enter the fourth round of the Australian Open here on Friday.
Evans, World No.51, defeated Tomic 7-5, 7-6 (2), 7-6 (3) in two hours and 48 minutes, reports Efe
Evans will now take on Frenchman Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, World No.12, who defeated United States Jack Sock 7-6 (4), 7-5, 6-7 (10), 6-3.
