Barcelona, Spain - Sara Errani recorded the second-biggest win of her career on Friday, after she beat Julia Goerges in the quarterfinals of the Barcelona Ladies Open. She won five break points and eked out the World number 16 Georges 6-2, 6-3.

Errani would now be up against Carla Suárez Navarro who beat Simona Halep, 6-4 6-1.

The other semifinal will see Dominika Cibulkova in action against Sorana Cirstea. Cirstea defeated Olga Govortsova, 2-6 6-1 6-3, while Cibulkova after dropping the first set beat Yuliya Beygelzimer, 3-6 6-0 6-0.
