Poland announce UEFA EURO 2012 squad

New Delhi:Poland coach Franciszek SmudaPoland announce UEFA EURO 2012 squad has announced the final 23 man squad for the UEFA EURO 2012 which they are going to host jointly with Ukraine. Three players Kamil Glik, Michał Kucharczyk and Tomasz Jodłowiec are the players who have receive the axe from the 26 man provisional team.


Smuda announced his decision live on national TV and said that it was indeed very difficult to tell the players that would be missing out of the action.


“In the evening, I had a meeting with my assistants, captain Jakub Błaszczykowski and with the three guys. I understand they are disappointed, but two months after the EURO finals we start our World Cup qualification campaign and they can be back if they make progress," as Smuda was quoted saying by UEFA.com
