Mumbai: DHFL, one of India’s leading housing finance company, has for the second successive year, renewed its innings as the Associate Sponsor with the Mumbai Indians franchise cricket team of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

DHFL will be unveiling the ‘Mumbai Indians Harlem Shake’, ‘DHFL Twicket’ and ‘DHFL Commentary Box’ amongst many initiatives outlined to engage with customers and Mumbai Indian fans.

DHFL, in the past, launched various contests like ‘Mumbai Deewane’, ‘Match ka Mitthu’ and ‘Match n Catch’ where winners were invited to a ‘Meet & Greet’ event with popular players from their favorite squad. The company also extended support to the underprivileged children in association with Mumbai Mobile Creche and invited children of the construction workers to meet and interact with their favorite player.

The Mumbai Indians franchise team in IPL-6 is captained by the former Australian skipper Ricky Ponting. The squad boasts icon players like Sachin Tendulkar, Harbhajan Singh and Rohit Sharma and has a youthful balance of experienced cricketers as well as talented youngsters from India and other nations. The team is coached by John Wright and has the former legendary Indian leg spinner Anil Kumble as its chief mentor.
The first match of Mumbai Indians would be against Royal Challengers Bangalore on April 4, 2013 at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore.
