New Delhi: Brijbhushan Sharan Singh, MP, President, Wrestling Federation of India on Tuesday welcomed the appointment of Prof. V.K. Malhotra as President of All India Council for Sports. He said that Prof. V.K. Malhotra has been associated with the Olympic Movement for a decades and his contribution towards the development of sport of Archery in India is well known. Singh said that under Prof. Malhotra’s leadership, the All India Council of Sports will play a significant part in the development of sports in the country.

G.S. Mander, Vice President, Indian Olympic Association congratulated Prof. V.K. Malhotra on his appointment as President, All India Council of Sports and said that Prof. Malhotra has been one of the leading personality in India who has carried forward the Olympic Movement and who have fought for preservation of the principle and ideal in the Olympic Charter. Prof. Malhotra’s appointment will be widely welcomed by all member of sporting community.
