Budapest: India's Bajrang won a bronze medal in the 60-kg Free Style category at the 2013 Senior World Wrestling Championship in Budapest on Tuesday.
In the qualification round, he lost the bout to Bulgarian Wrestler Vladimirov Vladimir Dubov. As the Bulgarian Wrestler reached in final, Bajrang got the chance of entering the repechage round for bronze medal. In the repechage, round he gave remarkable performance and won the bronze medal.
In the first bout of the repechage round, he defeated Japanese wrestler Shogo Maeda by 5-0 points. His next bout was with the Romanian Wrestler Ivan Guidea and he defeated him by 10-3 points and qualified for the final of the bronze medal.
In the final, he defeated Mongolian Wrestler Naym Ochir Enkhsaikhan by 9-2 points.
The bouts for the 74 Kg. of Free Style and 48 Kg. & 51 Kg. of female wrestling will be held on Wednesday.
