Ludhiana: A fiery bowling performance by Kumud helped his side Kundan Vidya Mandir registered victory over Teja Singh Swatantar Senior Secondary School in the ongoing PCA Inter-School Cricket Tournament (U-16) for Coca-Cola Cup on Monday here. Kumud picked up 4 wickets for 17 runs.
Teja Singh Swatantar School decided to bat first and were all out for paltry 109 runs in 26 overs. Bhupinder scored 23 runs while Jai Kumar remained unbeaten on 21 runs.
In reply Kundan Vidya Mandir target of 109 runs in19.4 overs with loss of just one wicket. Nimit Malhan and Nikhil Chowdhary remained not out on 52 and 32 runs, respectively.
