Chandigarh: Annual sports day was organized at Sharda Sarvhitkari at Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 40-D on Sunday.

Various games were held on the occasion some of them are - various races, fun games, and inter-class group games besides Matki race, hanuman race, skipping, balloon bursting and relay. These games not only cheered the audiences but was enjoyed by the contestants also.

Students from pre-nursery to class V took part and enjoyed the different games. March past that was followed by the hoisting of the flag was held to mark the opening ceremony of the event.

Chanchal Singh, Deputy Director Education, Chandigarh, was the chief guest who distributed the prizes to the winners and focused the values of sports in one’s life.
