Chandigarh: In the 50m race Manpreet Kaur stood first at the second day of the annual athletics meet of the Government College of Education held at Sec. 20-D.

The meet saw around 30 events and was inaugurated by Dr. R. Agnihotri, college vice-principal, by unfurling the college flag.

The Results are as follow:

Girls (50m race): Manpreet Kaur 1, Sushila Punia 2, Harleen Kaur 3.

Three-legged race: Remi Garg & Deepika Rani 1, Gayatri & Richa Kashyap 2, Neha & Harleen Kaur Bains 3.

Three-legged race (BEd yoga): Mukti Hooda & Preeti Saini.

400m race (BEd yoga): Deepika 1, Soni Gupta 2, and Mukti Hooda 3.

400m race: Sumedha 1, Suhila Punia 2, Rajni Sarao 3.

Boys: (1,500m race): Surjan Singh 1, Bhabit Sharma 2.

1,500m race (BEd yoga): Hanumant 1, Navneet Tiwari 2, Sourabh Malik 3.

Three-legged race (BEd yoga): Navneet Tiwari & Hanumant 1.
