Junior Delhi Wushu team emerge Sanshou team champions

New Delhi: The Junior Delhi won the Wushu team with four gold medals and emerged Sanshou team champions in the 10th Junior National (Boys and Girls) Wushu Championships–2012 held at Ranchi, Jharkhand from February 4 to 7. Around 500 players from 28 team were took part in this championship.  The Delhi Wushu team won 10 medals including 4 gold, 3 silver and 3 bronze medals and shows Delhi Sanshou team is the one of the best team in India. Delhi players did wonders in the previous national and International championships including the 16th Asian games 2010 held at Guangzhou their two Delhi Wushu players won one silver and one bronze medal in Below 60 Kg weight category in Sanshou event.

While delhi team stood first in Sanshou event with four gold medals, UP stood second with 3 Gold & Manipur Third with 3 Gold medals.

The four gold medals of Delhi were won by Junior Asian Medallist Parmod Kumar in 70 Kg, & School national gold medallist Aavesh Kumar, Sumit Rathi & Narender Grewal won gold medals in their weight categories.
