Chandigarh:  After an all round performance in MPI 35 –over league matches in Hungary, Abhishek Khetarpal of Panchkula was awarded with the Cricketer of the Year Award for 2011 by the Hungarian Cricket Association. In the league matches, Abhishek represented and guided his team (Budapest Falcons) to register win against Baggy Blues International in the final.

The displayed some fine performance with bat and bowl. He took six wickets by giving away only 12 runs and scored 62 runs.
