Chandigarh: Retaining their title, the softball team of the SGGS College, Sector 26, lifted winners’ trophy for the fourth consecutive year, at PU ground, here today.
In the final league match of Panjab University Inter-College Softball Championship for Men, the SGGS College, Sector 26, team routed GGDSD College, Sector 32, by a margin of 6-1.
Pardeep and Pawan guided the team to victory after scoring two runs each while Karan scored one to complete the team’s winning tally. For GGDSD College, Sector 32, Bhupinder scored one to reduce the margin.
