Chandigarh: DP Azad Cricket Academy reached the final of the ongoing 1st Satluj Sub-Junior Cricket League Tournament for Boys (U-13) after defeating Bharti Vij Cricket Academy, Sector 28, here today.
In the second semifinal, the winning team drubbed their rivals by four wickets.
After winning the toss, Bharti Vij Academy set a target of 109 for 6 in the allotted 20 overs. Shivam was the most successful batsman, scoring 30 runs, while Abhay and Ashish added 17 and 16 runs, respectively, to the team’s total. For the bowling side, Ritik claimed 3 for 17.
