Chandigarh: The Lawn Tennis Association (LTA), London, has awarded Taranbir Singh Oberio, a student of The Banyan Tree School, Sector 48, with the player of the year award. The local lad won five consecutive singles and doubles titles and also a certificate and a gold medal.

Taranbir Singh has been playing the sports from the last seven years and aims to make it big in the field.

“I am working hard in this direction and hope will achieve it soon. I will practice harder to achieve a big status in the game,” said Taranbir.
