Chandigarh: The fencing team of PG Government College for Girls, Sector 11, secured the first place in Panjab University Inter-college Fencing (Division A) for Women held at PU gymnasium hall here. In the team championship, Dev Samaj College for Women, Sector 45, finished second, while the team of Khalsa College for Women, Ludhiana, and PG Government College for Girls, Sector 42, stood third and fourth places, respectively. In the sabre (team) event, PG Government College for Girls, Sector 11, stood first, while Khalsa College for Women, Ludhiana, secured the second place. Dev Samaj College for Women and SGGS Khalsa College, Mahilpur, secured the third place in the event.
