Chandigarh: Former Chandigarh state badminton champion, Surjit Bedi, wants to give back to the game by sponsoring the local talented players to participate in the international badminton tournaments.

Impressed with the consistent display by Ashish Sharma and Pankaj Nathania, Bedi has decided to honour the state champions by sponsoring them to participate in the international events.

Other notable performances have been marked from the Badminton Hall, Sector 42, by Mehak Sood, Shreya Chadha, Aryan, Ishaan, Sudhanshu, Paras, Akarsh, Abhinav and Amit. All in the age group of Under-10, Under-13, Under-15, Under-17 and Under-19.
