Chandigarh: Divya Sharma showed Aman Goyal way out, to advance into the quarter-finals of the ongoing 26th Haryana state sub-junior, junior and senior Billiards and Snooker Championship, being held here.


In the senior snooker category, last year’s runner up, Divya Sharma, defeated Aman Goyal by 3-1. Divya started off in a good nod and won the first frame but Aman came back strongly and took a lead at a piece in a second frame.


But Divya with her perfect skill work won next two frames convincingly hitting good breaks of 41 and 38.


In another match of the same category, veteran player, Sameer Bhalla booked his quarter-final berth after defeating Amit Rohella from Kurukshetra by 3-0.
