Chandigarh: The basketball teams of the CRPF and JCC defeated SDC and Air Force, respectively, during the matches of Senior State Basketball Championship being held at New Public School, Sector-18, here today.

In the first match of the men’s section, the team of CRPF defeated SDC by 79-54 after a half-time score of 38-23.

Pawan Kumar (23 points) and Rajesh (21 points) were the main scorer getters for the team while Sartaj (13 points) and Ravi (12 points) contributed to reduce the margin.

In another match, JCC overcame Air Force by 75-62 after a half time score of 22-32 in favor of Air Force team.
