Chandigarh: The basketball team of St Joseph School, Sector 44, won the Inter-School Basketball Tournament for Boys (U-14) here today.

In the final match, held at Sports Complex, Sector 46, here today, St Joseph defeated Bahvan Vidalaya School Sector 27.

In another match Ajit Karam Singh International Public School, Sector 41, defeated St Kabir School, Sector 26, to finish third in the competition. In the finals of Girls’ (U-17), IS Dev Samaj School, Sector 21, defeated St Anne's School, Sector 32, by 21-8 to win the title. In the matches of Girls’(U-14) team of Shivalik Public School, Sector 41, overcame Bhavan Vidayalaya School by 22-9 while Government Model Senior Secondary school sector 20 beat St Anne School, Sector 32, by 23-2. In the finals of Girls’ (U-19) group, New Public School, Sector 18, (NPS-18) will face Carmel Convent School Sector 9, tomorrow.
