Sirsa: The supremacy of the Maharishi Dayanand University (MDU), Rohtak, grapplers continued on the penultimate day of the All-India Inter-University Men’s Wrestling Championship today, as two out of the three gold medals decided today went their way.

Hitesh of the MDU wrestled past Kamaljit Singh of Punjabi University, Patiala, to win gold in the final of the 120-kg weight category. Bronze medals went to Navneet Sharma of Panjab University, Chandigarh, and Vikram of Jamia Millia Islamia University, Delhi.

In the 74-kg weight category, Jitender of MDU defeated Karthik Samarao of Shivaji University, Kolhapur, in the final. Pardeep of Kurukshetra University and Vipin of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University, Faizabad, had to be content with bronze medals.
