Chandigarh:  The handball team of Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 35, (GMSSS-35) thrashed Government Model High School, Sector 41, (GMHS-41) by 12-3, to win the title of the inter-school handball tournament for Girls (U-14), being held at Sports Complex, Sector 42, here on Wednesday.

In another match of Girls’ (U-17) category, Government Model High School, Sector 43 defeated Government Mode Senior Secondary School, Sector 19, by 11-4 and Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 35, overpowered Government Mode Senior Secondary School, Sector 16, by 7-3. In the last match Government Mode Senior Secondary School, Sector 8, beat Government Mode Senior Secondary School, Sector 21, by 7-1.
