Chandigarh: Sabhyata Nihalani of Delhi and Aarja Chakraborty of Uttar Pradesh will clash against local pair of Bhavya Wadhawan and Gayatri Kumariah in the finals of Girls’ (U-14) doubles category during the ongoing Shivalik Public School CLTA-AITA Championship Series Tennis Tournament being held at CLTA complex.

In the semi finals of the category Sabhyata and Aarja beat Nimrat Walia and Shreya Kalia 7-6(3) and 6-3 while in other semi-final clash Bhavya and Gayatri overpowered Aarushi Kakkar and Ayushi Gupta 6-4 and 6-4.

In the quarterfinal matches of Boys’ (U-12), Rohit Kumar defeated his counterpart Himanshu Mor 5-3, 3-5 and 5-3 while local lad Rishabh Sharda went down against Abhimanyu Vannemreddy of Tamil Nadu 4-0 and 4-2.

Delhi player Sacchitt Sharrma overcome S Dakshineshwar in a three set clash 4-0, 3-5 and 4-2 while Utkarsh Bhardwaj defeated Amit Beniwal of Harayan 0-4, 5-4 and 4-1.
