Chandigarh: Kabaddi Coaching Centre, Sector 42, defeated Dadu Majra Club to lift the title of in the men’s category during the ongoing Chandigarh State Kabaddi Championship (NS) being held at kabaddi ground of sports complex in Sector 42 here on Tuesday.

The winning team defeated Dadu Majra Club 14-10, whereas Unified Club secured the third position in the same category after defeating Post Graduate Government College, Sector 11.

Maloya Club will face Saket Club in the final of girls (junior) category. In the semifinals, Saket Club drubbed Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Sector 20, 3-15.

A total of 26 matches were played on the second day of the tournament, whereas about 500 players from different parts of the city participated in the tourney.
