Chandigarh: Students of Government Model Senior Secondary School, Mani Majra Housing Complex (MHC), with a haul of seven gold medals claimed the overall trophy in the two-day Squay Championship conducted in memory of Chacha Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India, at The Banyan Tree School complex in Sector 48 here today.

On the second day of the competition, MHC school added three more gold medals to their kitty through Poonam Patel (-56 kg, junior girls), Neha (-48 kg girls open weight) and Pooja (+43 kg, sub-junior girls) categories. On the opening day, they had bagged four gold medals.

In the +43 kg category for sub-junior girls, MHC schoolgirls swept all titles at stake in this class. Teela Wati bagged silver, while Rishi and Seema were awarded bronze medals.
