Chandigarh: Digvijay and Sandeep Kaur are among eight players in the under-14 boys and girls’ categories to have got the wild card entry for the main draw in the Shivalik Public School-CLTA-AITA Championship Series Tennis Tournament to be held at CLTA from November 21.

A CLTA release here today said 157 players from various parts of the country have signed up for qualifying events to be held on November 19 and 20.

Competitions in under-12 boys (68 entries), under-14 boys (54 entries), under-12 girls (17 entries) and under-14 girls (18 entries) will be organised.

The qualifying first round matches will be played at the Chandigarh Lawn Tennis Association (CLTA) Complex and the Lake Sport Complex, Chandigarh, from 8.30 am and 9 am, respectively, on November 19.

The other players who have got the wild card for the main draw include: Boys under-14: Jagdeep Singh, Krishna Rajput, Rahul Verma; girls under-14: Shea Bhasin, Hiya Chaudhary , Rubani Ahluwalia; boys under-12: Calvin Golmei, Saurabh Prashar, Abhi Udai, Chiraz; girls’ under-12: Akshita Singh.
