Chandigarh: Delhi Public School (DPS), Sector 40, defeated St Anne’s School, Sector 32, by 2-0 in the Inter-School Football Tournament (U-14 boys) at Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 22-A, here today. Deepak Nayar scored both goals in the eighth and 31st minutes of the game.

In another match of the day, Government Model High School (GMHS), Sector 42, defeated St Kabir School, Sector 26, by 2-0. For GMHS-42, Dev Malhotra and Gurkaran Singh scored the goals in the 29th and 31st minutes of the game.

In the third match of the day, GMSSS, Sector 22-A, got the better of St Joseph, Sector 44, by 2-1. For GMSSS-22, Arjun Rana scored two goals in the fourth and 11 minutes of the game, while Shreshath scored the lone goal for St Joseph in the sixth minute of the game.

In the last match, St Stephen’s School, Sector 45, defeated SGGSS-35 by 1-0.
