Chandigarh: Punjab took a 30-run lead over Jharkhand on the second day of the ongoing Col CK Nayudu Cricket Trophy being held at Kennan Stadium, Jamshedpur, today.
Punjab team scored a total of 276 for nine in 82 overs till the end of day’s play. The team was chasing the target of 246 for nine scored by the rivals.
Earlier for Punjab team, Jaskaran Singh took three for 73, while opening par Kunwar Raina and Jeevanjot scored a total of 45 runs for the first wicket.
Gurkirat Mann (42) and Jaskaran Singh (42) were the main contributors in the team’s total.
For Jharkhand, medium pacers Parkash and Jaskaran Singh took four wickets each.
