New Delhi: Over 47,000 students participated in the 17th edition of Salwan Marathon here today in the race touted as the world's largest cross-country run for school children. The all-new edition of this annually organised marathon also witnessed participation of about 1,700 visually challenged children, who ran through a long stretch of 3.5km across the woods at the Polo Grounds of the Army Equestrian Centre.
