Chandigarh: Ryan International, Sector 49, moved into the second round of the Gurukul Global 24th Chandigarh State Table Tennis Championship in the under-14 sub-junior boys\ category by defeating Strawberry Fields 3-0 here ton Saturday.
In another match, Delhi Public School, Sector 40, beat Manav Mangal-B by 3-1, while AKSIPS beat Delhi Public School by 3-0.
More than 150 players and 30 schools are participating in various age groups in the championship being organised in memory of former secretary general of Table Tennis Federation of India, late MC Chauhan. The four-day championship, organised by the Chandigarh Table Tennis Association, was inaugurated by managing director, Gurukul Global, Parveen Setya.
