Chandigarh: Alpine School, Pinjore defeated Shishu Niketan, Panchkula 35-25 to enter final of the boys' under-14 category of the inaugural Dikshant Invitational Inter-School Basketball Championship, being held at Zirakpur on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Dikshant International School also booked their berth in the final by beating St Xavier's School, Panchkula 39-30.

In the girls' section, Holy Child School defeated St Theresa School (Team A) 14-8, while St Xavier's School got past St Theresa School (Team B) by 12 points.
