Chandigarh: Government Model High School, Sector 36, pipped GMSSS, Sector 10, 3-1 to clinch the under-17 trophy of the interschool softball (girls') tournament at GMSSS-44.

Government High School, Sector 11, overpowered Government Model High School, Sector 39, 5-3 to win the third place. In the semifinals of the under-14 section, Government High School, Sector 11, beat GMSSS-8 4-1, while GMSSS10 ousted GMSSS-33 7-4 to book their berth in the final of the event.
