Chandigarh: Carmel Convent School, Sector 9,  blanked Bhavan Vidyalaya, Sector 27, 40 in a match of inter-school under19 football tournament (for girls) at Government Model Senior Secondary School , Sector 22, in Chandigarh on Friday.

Simran Singhvi was the first to score in the third minute of the game from the winning side.

Manveen reinforced the lead 12 minutes later. With the 20thminute strike, Meghna Bhasin made the matters beyond the reach of the Bhavan Vidyalaya team, while Saachi Shante (36th minute) scored the last goal of the play to round off the team's tally.

In the last match of the same category, the girls of Government Senior Secondary School (GSSS), Sector 20, drubbed Sacred Heart, Sector 26, 4-0.
