Bangalore: Super division teams ADE and LRDE began their campaign in the DRDO South Zone football tournament with thumping victories at the ADE ground.

The host ADE pumped five goals past Bangalore's DARE, with Gnanaprakash scoring thrice (10th, 15th, 34th). S. Dakshina Murthy (26th) and Deenabandu Raj (42nd) scored the other goals.

Neighbours and arch-rivals LRDE, too, scored a convincing 6-0 victory over CVRDE (Chennai). Murthy (4), Murli and Anthony were the scorers.
