Chandigarh: Aditi of Khuda Ali Sher bagged the first place while Mohima won the second spot in the 800-metre final in the Rural Sports Festival for Women under the project “Hum Chhuyenge Assmaan” being organized by the Sports Department, Chandigarh Administration from 08.12.2016 to 10.12.2016 in the discipline of Athletics, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Tug of war & Volleyball at Sports Complex, Sector-7, Chandigarh.
Teams from all over rural area U.T., Chandigarh are participating in this tournament. All the preparations have been made and well maintained.
Capt Karnail Singh, PCS, Director Sports, Sports Department, U.T., Chandigarh inaugurated the opening ceremony of Rural Sports Festival for Women under the project “Hum Chhuyenge Assmaan”.
