New Delhi: NCC Directorate (NCC) beat Saha Satnamji Boys School, Sirsa by 8-1 in one-sided match in the 45th Nehru Junior Hockey Tournament being played at Shivaji Stadium in New Delhi, on Saturday.

NCC Directorate (NCC) scored goals in the 7th, 11th, 14th, 38th, 48th, 48th, 50th, and55th, minute of the match. The goal scorers for NCC Directorate were Nabin, Silanand, Prasad, Anugarh and Jay Prakash, respectively.

In the second match, Indira Priyadarshini Higher Secondary School, Bhopal beat ST Mary’s High School, Simdega by 5-1. , Indira Priyadarshini Higher Secondary School, Bhopal scored through Vivek, Mohd. and Ravi in 16th, 55th,64th ,67th and 69th minute while the ST Mary’s High School, Simdega scored one goal through Alok Kujur in the 19th minute.

In the third match, Sri GTB Khalsa Senior Secondary School, Baba Bakala Sahib defeated Sain Dass AS Senior Secondary School in a closely contested match by 3-2.

In the fourth match, BKSP (Bangaladesh) beat VSA Senior Secondary School, Delhi in one-sided match by 4-2.
Meanwhile, Sri GTB Khalsa Senior Secondary School, Baba Bakala Sahib qualified for the semi-final.
