New Delhi: Indira Priyadarshini Higher Secondary School, Bhopal beat Springdale’s Senior Secondary School, Amritsar by 7-1 in one-sided match in the 45th Nehru Junior Hockey Tournament being played at Shivaji Stadium in New Delhi, on Friday.

Indira Priyadarshini School, Bhopal scored goals in the 17th, 25th, 26th, 32nd, 42nd ,57th and 60th minute of the match. The goal scorers for Indira Priyadarshini, School were Harshdeep, Alishan,Naresh, Imad, Suuhail, and Abhijeet, respectively. Gursharanpreet Singh scored single goal in the 22nd minute for Springdale’s Senior Secondary School, Amritsar.

In the second match, CRZ Senior Secondary School, Sonepat beat Guru Gobind Sports College, Lucknow by 3-2.CRZ scored through Deepak, Yashdeep and Parmeet in 31st, 35th, and 67th minute while the GGS Sports College scored two goals through Rahul K.Rajbhar  in the 29th  and the 64th  minute.

In the third match, Sain Dass AS Senior Secondary School, Jalandhar defeated Saha Satnamji Boys School, Sirsa in a one-sided match by 10-1.

In the fourth match, Government Model Senior Secondary School, Mohali beat VSA Senior Secondary School, Delhi in one-sided match by 3-2.

Meanwhile, Sain Dass AS Senior Secondary School, Jalandhar qualified for the semi-final.
