New Delhi: Defending champions APJ School, Noida will meet Delhi Public School, Noida on May 9 ( Monday ) in the summit clash of the 6th AR Khan Memorial NCR Inter-school Football Tournament being held at Dr. Ambedkar Stadium.

In the 1st semi-final match held on Friday, APJ School Noida scored a 5 - 2 fluent victory over Modern School, Vasant Vihar to enter in the final. Amandeep scored a brace in the 3rd and 36th minute for winners. Other scorers were Karan (21st), Johar Pal ( 57th) and Anrudh (62nd minute ). Modern School’s Charanjeet Singh (45th) and Shiv Ram Bajaj (50th minute ) reduce margin 2 - 5.

In the second semi-final, Delhi Public School, Noida came from behind to beat 3 - 2 in a well- contested against Modern School, Barakhamba Road to meet APJ Noida in the final scheduled for Monday. Modern School’s Prasant Sharma opened score 1 - 0 in 2nd minute. DPS’ Prasant Burman levelled it 1 - 1 in 13th minute while Kushan Sasvat made it 2 - 1 in 15th minute. Umer Zaid made it 3 - 1 in 20th minute. Modern School,s Prem Kumar reduced margin 2 - 3 in 25th minute.
The final is slated on Monday ( May 9 ) at 4. 30 pm
