Chandigarh: Nisha beat Ishita 21-17,21-15 to win women’s singles’ badminton title at the State Women’s Competition organized by the Sports Department, U.T. Chandigarh , which concluded on Monday.

On the closing ceremony Mrs. Kavita Singh, IAS, Managing Director,Chandigarh Industrial and Tourism Development Corporation Ltd(CITCO) was the Chief Guest and gave away the prizes to all the winners, runners-up and third position holders. Others presents were Dr. Sarita Malik, HCS, Director Sports, Chandigarh Administration, Sh. K.S. Bharti, Joint Director Sports and all the committee members of the tournament along with officials of Sports Department.
