Mohali: The J.P.Atray Memorial Cricket Society is holding 2nd Rama Atray Memorial Women Cricket Tournament from October 26 to 29 at Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector-26 Chandigarh under the auspices of Punjab Cricket Association.

Senior women teams from Punjab, Himachal and Delhi will be participating in the event.

According to Capt Sushil Kapoor, Organising Secretary of the Tournament, the matches will be of 50 overs each side and will be played under BCCI rules for
Women One Day Cricket Tournament. The matches will be played on league basis and two top teams will play the finals.

The matches will be played in coloured clothing and with SG Test White Cricket balls. PCA Panel Umpires and Scorers will officiate in the matches. All the matches will start at 9.30 am. The winner and Runner teams will receive the trophies. There will be Women of the Match Award for each match and best women bowler, best women all-rounder and best women batsman.
