Chandigarh: The Sports Department, U.T., Chandigarh Administration is organising 13th Administrator’s Challenge Cup All India Football Tournament (U-17 Boys) to be held from 22nd to 30th September, 2015 at Chandigarh Football Academy Ground, Sports Complex, Sector-42, Chandigarh and Football Stadium, Sector-17, Chandigarh, where teams from all over India will be participating in this tournament.
Fifteen teams have confirmed their participation in this tournament.
A meeting of all the managers of participating teams will be held on 21.09.2015 at 7:00 p.m. in the Conference Hall, Hockey Stadium, Sector – 42, Chandigarh in which colours of the participating teams will be displayed and general instructions about the conduct of matches and other programmes will be conveyed.
The medical committee has conducted medical of 11 teams. Out of which following players have been suspected over-age by the doctor, deputed from GMSH – 16 and the same were referred to GMSH – 16 for radiology examination. The details of teams/players, who are suspected to be over-age are as under:- Gujarat State Football Association, Gujarat - 2 players, Mohun Bagan Sail Football Academy, W.B- 1 player, Ozone Group Football Academy, Bangalore, Karnataka -5 players, RDT Football Academy, A.P – 1 Player, Dalbir Football Academy, Patiala – 3 players, Chandigarh Football Academy, Chandigarh-1 player, Youngsters Club, Chandigarh-1 player.
The inaugural match will be played on 22nd September, 2015 at FootballStadium, Sector – 17, Chandigarh at 3:00 p.m. Vijay Kumar Dev, IAS Adviser to the Administrator, Union Territory, Chandigarh has been consented to be the Chief Guest on the Opening Ceremony.
