DSA Annual Senior Division Open Clubs Football League Championship: Indian National FC qualify for super league

New Delhi: Defending Champions Indian National FC beat Shimla Youngs FC 5-1 to qualifies for super league of the Delhi Soccer Association (DSA ) Annual Senior Division Open Clubs Football League Championship being held at Dr Ambedkar Stadium here on Thursday.

National completed their engagements by collecting 11 points from six matches.

The highlight of this match was a fine hat-trick scored by Nigerian striker Okoro, who scored in 4th, 45th, 57th minute of the game. Suriender (72nd minute) and Sandeep (76th minute) were other scorers to make the score 5 – 0. Shimla Youngs reduced the margin to 1 - 5 in 79th minute.

Earlier, runners - up Garhwal Heroes recorded a 5-0 win over Moonlight SC. Garhwal Heroes's scorers were Dammy (34th), Al-Hasan (48th minute), Gaimlung Kamei (50th minute), Charles (57th) and Midung (77th minute). Garhwal Heroes have now 10 points from five games.
