DSA Annual Senior Division Open Clubs Football League Championship: Hindustan FC trounce Delhi FC 8- 0

New Delhi: Formidable Hindustan Football Club trounced Delhi Football Club in group - A preliminary league match of the Delhi Soccer Association ( DSA ) Annual Senior Division Open Clubs Football League Championship being held at Dr Ambedkar Stadium, here on Monday.

Hindustan Club consolidated their position for super league qualification by begging six points from four matches while Delhi FC have two points from five matches. At lemon break, Hindustan led 4-0. Former Delhi state captain Monu Choudhary opened score 1 - 0 in 12th minute. Inside- left Daniel increased lead to 2-0 in 15th minute. Outside-left Jagdeep Singh increased led to 3-o in 17th minute while Ashutosh Thaipliyal made it 4-0 in 36th minute.

On changing ends, Daniel struck to make it 5-0 in the 43rd minute. Thereafter, striker Dillli Ram scored a brace in 63rd and 7th minute to increase lead to 7-0. Pawan Joshi completed tally to 8-0 in the 80th minute. Hindustan's Ashutosh ( Jr No. 27 ) and Delhi FC 's Rahul ( Jr No. o4 ) were shown yellow cards following infringements.

Meanwhile, Newly promoted Indian Air Force (Palam ), who had already qualified for super league ) topped group A while defeating Youngmen SC to complete their engagements by collecting 16 points. Youngmen SC remained at 4 points from 4 matches. The highlight of this match was a fine hat-trick scored by striker Vivek who scored in 6th, 22nd and 49th minute to make score 3-0. Youngmen SC reduced margin 1-3 in 67th minute through Karthik.
