India’s latest football development program the IFB Boca Juniors Football Champs is all set to kick start the Kolkata leg on the 17th of January. IFB Home Appliances Ltd in association with Boca Juniors Football Champs is in a nationwide tour for the search of country’s next big football star. Having successfully staged the events in Chandigarh and New Delhi, Football Champs is now all set to conquer the Mecca of Indian football, Kolkata.

IFB Boca Juniors Football Champs has a very unique approach for talent development in India as this is the only the platform which provides an opportunity for both Schools and College students to showcase their talent and get a chance to get trained by Argentine coaches from Boca Juniors.

Champions from each city will battle it out for the National level finals which will be held in Goa later in the year. Seven selected boys from schools and seven from college teams will be chosen to take part in training cum exposure trip at the Boca Juniors Football Academy in Argentina.

At Kolkata the tournament will be held at New Town (HIDCO) Football Ground, Action Area I, AD Block. On 17th of January the School leg will be contested while the colleges of Kolkata will battle against them on the 18th.
The Kolkata Leg finals will be held from 4PM on 18th of January 2014.
