New Delhi: Royal Rangers Football Club scored a 5 - 1 victory over Garhwal Diamond FC in Group- I preliminary league match of the DLF - ONGC - Delhi Soccer Association Annual Division A Open Clubs Football League Championship-2013 being held at CWG Village Sports Complex, Akshardham here on Tuesday. 

Royal Rangers have three points from two matches while Garhwal Diamond have four points from three matches.

Christopher ( 2 goals- in 12th, 14th minute), Ilyash ( 37th & 67th ), C. S. Iyer ( 69th ) and Garhwal Diamond's Paulla Kuki ( 65th mintue) were the scorers.

In another match of group- I , Indian Air Force ( Palam ) defeated Ashoka FC 2 - 0 at DDA Netaji Subhash Sports Complex , Jasola to earn three points. Ashok (18th minute) and Lalremuatilunga (46th minute) were the scorers. I A F have seven point s from three matches while Ashoka FC tasted their fourth straight defeat to draw blank.

In group- III , Rohini FC came from behind to hold Frontier FC to a 1 - 1 draw at CWG Complex. Frontier's Kartik scored i n 49th minute while Rohini's Mohd. Khalid restored parity 1 - 1 in 51st minute. Frontiers have seven points in three matches while Rohini have four points from four matches .

In another match at DDA Jasola, Victory Club came from behind to hold Delhi Cantt. to a 1 - 1 draw to share equal points.
