The 8th Ritinjali Second Chance Golf Tournament will tee off on Friday, 15 November, at the prestigious Delhi Golf Club.
A total field of 96 players are expected to participate in this annual event. Golfers from all walks of life have entered into the 18-hole event, which has been oversubscribed. The game will be played in Individual and Team categories, after calculating handicaps on the Double Peoria handicap system.

Many Organizations have come forward in support of Ritinjali and the golf event. Hughes and Indo Rama are the presenting sponsors, and significant contributions have been made by the Aadani Group, GreenPly, PioneerUrban, Aakar, Jak Group, Bharani’s, Rotana Hotels Delsey, Swarovski, Mercedes ,Snowhite, MyMoneyMantra.

The concept behind the Second Chance Golf tournament originated from Ritinjali’s Second Chance School in Delhi where we attempt to educate those urban deprived young adults who unfortunately had to end an educational chapter in their lives. The first edition of the tournament was held in the year 2004 at the Classic Golf Resort in Gurgaon. The tournament has since grown strength to strength each year and witnesses representation from multiple organizations and has been increasing players/sponsors participation every consecutive year.

The Second Chance Golf Tournament is a unique event, leveraging as it does the medium of golf to successfully raise funds, which help in providing impetus to various causes supported by Ritinjali. Through support of their contributors and with the funds that were raised last year, Ritinjali was able to support more than 350 little children in continuing their education and 50 young adults in pursuing a vocational course and thus empowering them to stand on their own feet.
