Chandigarh: The Chandigarh State Junior Rowing Championship for Men and Women will be held at the Lake Club on Saturday, the 19th October, 2013 at 0700 hours (07:00 A.M.). The following events will be conducted in the Championship: -

1. Single Sculls (1 x) (Open for Men and Women)

3. Double Sculls (2 x) (Open for Men and Women)

4. Coxless Pairs (2 -) (Open for Men and Women)

5. Coxless Fours (4 -) (Open for Men and Women)

The entries close with Parmod Kumar Singla, Hony. Secretary, Chandigarh Rowing Association or Arvind Sehgal, Rowing Coach on the Friday, the 18th October, 2013 at 1800 hours (6:00 P.M.).

The selection of the team for the forthcoming 34th Junior National Rowing Championships are being held at Sonali Park Upper Ganga Canal, Roorkee (Uttrakhand) from 18-25 November, 2013 will be made on the basis of the performance of the rowers in the above Chandigarh State Junior Rowing Championship on 19th October, 2013, their previous performance and future potential.

All Oars boys/ Oars Girls born on or after 1-1-1995 are eligible for the Juniors Championship.
