New Delhi: Collegians Football Club and New Delhi Heroes FC scored identical victories over their respective opponents in group - II preliminary league matches of the DLF - ONGC - Delhi Soccer Association ( DSA ) Annual ' A ' Division open clubs football league championship - 2013 being held at CWG Village Sports Complex, Akshardham here today.

In the 1st match, Collegians defeated Bangadarshan FC 2 - 0 to collect three points. Joseph M John opened score 1 - 0 in 22nd minute while

Udyan Sharma increased tally 2 - 0 in 58th mintue. Collegians have 3 points from 2 games while Bangadarshan drew blank.

Later on in another match, former champions - New Delhi Heroes earned their first victory when they scored a 2 - 0 win over Victory FC. Pardeep and Manish were the scorers in 50th and 70th minute. Both teams have 3 points each from 2 games.

Meanwhile, the Delhi Soccer Association (DSA) will hold an open selection- cum- training camp to select Delhi State Under - 14 Boys Football tem from Saturday ( Oct. 26 ) at CWG Village Sports Complex, Akshardham.

Acoording to DSA secretary Syed Shaheen, players born on 1.1.2000 or after should report to the camp convener - Dilip Ghosh at the venue on Saturday ( Oct. 26 ) at 1. 00 pm alongwith their original date of birth certificates. The team is to participate in the AIFF Under - 14 Boys Football tournament.
